by Casper Kelly
Sleep is fragile
around you
We can make each other so
sleepy, we can share
a dream of the same song
They play glacial
arctic
polar bear dying
music in the waiting room
so quiet that it drives you insane
I tell you
I'd rather be dead than deaf
but I'd still remember your voice
You ask
when you're deaf
or when you're dead?
You should have my baby
I'll make a tiny baby
hearing aid, turn it all the way
down to zero or
infinite sleep
