by Olivia Zarzycki
My sisters are gone.
I float through space.
My best friend hands me her baby.
I count numbers and sign letters.
Summers are unbearable.
I go to weddings and doctor appointments.
My house is small.
Grandma sold her horses.
We never thought she’d do that.
